Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) has announced the suspension of its services at the Likoni Channel to facilitate the retrieving of bodies that plunged into the Indian Ocean Sunday.
KFS has asked motorists and commuters to use alternatives routes
"This is to notify ferry users that due to the ongoing exercise of retrieving the sunken vehicle we are likely to experience delays between 30 minutes to one hour as ferry movement is affected," read the tweet.
In other tweets, KFS has said they divers from different groups had managed to locate the car wreckage and were in the process of retrieving it

A car on Sunday plunged into the ocean after it slid from MV Harambee which was moving from Likoni mainland to Mombasa Island.
A woman and her daughter are the identified occupants of the the car.
