Most universities don't educate their students on how to be competitive, productive, deal with an arrogant and rude boss, workmates and how to easily get promotions. 

Universities and colleges at large should review their courses' outline and incorporate some of these job skills for the benefits of students

1. Working with people

You will meet people from different walks of life in your new job. The way you will be working and interacting with them matters. Learn how people from different background operate. How you react to their decisions, actions is really important. Learn how to show appreciation, interacting humbly and demonstrate respect at work. 

2. Responsibility

Pushing yourself out of comfort zone and taking on more projects can be the best word to describe responsibility. Outshine your fellow colleagues by being proactive and by this, I mean performing various duties with passion and diligence. Have the willpower to handle different duties and be a worthy asset to the company. 

3. Presenting 

How you present yourself, ideas and opinion usually matter. We are in a world where your first impression really plays a role in defining who you are. If you think that doesn't matter, then you are wrong. Being presentable should always be on the front burner.
