She noted that the Jubilee government has set up projects in different sectors of the economy including roads, health, commerce and security among others. She divulged that the current regime is committed to giving Kenyans nothing but the best. Dena added that the President still has good plans for the region as well as the entire nation.

"The biggest win for this administration in Western Kenya is infrastructure especially roads. The Govt has also invested substantially in education and training, security, health, and commerce especially cross-border trade with the set up of the One-Stop Border posts," she said.

She opined that the head of state is aware of stalled projects, adding that he is doing all he can to ensure they are completed on time.

"The President is aware of the slow progress of some of the road projects in Western Kenya and action is being taken to ensure that the roads are fast-tracked and delivered within schedule," she said.

On the issue of the collapse of sugar industries,  Dena said that President Kenyatta is on the verge of forming a task force to oversee how the sector can be revived.
