Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has said his rule will be people-centered should he win the 2022 presidential polls.
Mutua says that he will fully involve Kenyans in solving the country's problems.
Speaking on Qwetu FM on Friday, Mutua said that Kenyans will enjoy his leadership if elected President.
Governor Mutua stated that he has great plans for the country, adding that the change Kenyans have been yearning for many years will be realised under his tenure should he win in 2022.
He said that elected leaders have failed to include people's opinion in their leadership.
"Kenyans will not regret my leadership because I will provide what they have been yearning for since independence," he said.
Mutua stated that he will intensify the war against corruption and tribalism should he win in the 2022 polls.
He said that corruption, tribalism, and marginalization is what is ailing Kenyans.
Governor Mutua at the same time defended his push for the presidency in 2022.
"Politics needs early preparations and I am putting my team in order for the race," he said.
Governor Mutua is among top politicians who are eyeing to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
There have been speculations that the Machakos Governor could partner with Baringo Senator Gideon Moi in 2022.
Mutua intends to contest on his Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
