Political analyst Herman Manyora has once again predicted doom for Deputy President William Ruto, with regards to his stay in the ruling Jubilee Party.
Speaking on Saturday, the commentator predicted that the DP will soon be leaving the party to seek relief from his current woes, apparently coming from the same quarters.
Citing his isolation by President Uhuru Kenyatta who seems closer to ODM leader Raila Odinga now, he said that the DP will soon have to make the hard decision whether he likes it or not.
Manyora also cited the ongoing investigations on people close to the DP, whom police believe are behind his recent claims that his life is in danger as another method being employed by the Uhuru-Raila duo and their allies to fight him.
"William Samoei Ruto, you will have to leave government. What your opponents are doing; they are breaking your lieutenants. Itumbi's arrest must be an eye-opener to you that there is a determined effort to ensure that you are isolated," he said on his YouTube analysis channel on Saturday.
Denis Itumbi, the State House Digital Communication director is in detention over claims of authoring a letter suggesting that some top state officials have been plotting Ruto's assassination ahead of the 2022 polls.
According to Manyora, Ruto's exit is no longer debatable, but a pending move whose time it will finally come, saying that the fight against corruption is another tact against him.
The commentator also observed that Uhuru's vow to fire all his Cabinet Ministers arraigned for corruption will soon see Ruto allied CSs land in court, with a plan of further victimizing and frustrating him.
"I am sure, and I have said it before when an onslaught is made on your people, when corruption cases get to the prosecution level, when that time comes, the end is not far," he noted.
Ruto is personally fighting claims of being the leading corrupt figure in the nation, thanks to allegations from Raila's opposition quarters.
