According to Adelle's Instagram post, she was invited for a “Celebration of Icons of Change”.  She also cited that she will interact with students from secondary schools through workshops.

"Humbled to be 1 of 40 young Africans invited by Facebook to Accra this weekend - for a “Celebration of Icons of Change”!!!⁣⁣I’ll also help facilitate a workshop ⁣with secondary students from ⁣Junior Achievement Ghana while ⁣there so that should be hella fun!⁣" part of her message on Instagram read.

She expressed her eagerness in visiting Accra saying that she has heard a lot of great things about the city. She, however, assured her fans that she will make it back for her online podcast show.

"Can’t wait to meet the other ⁣community leaders, creators, ⁣developers entrepreneurs!⁣⁣I’ve heard great things about Accra ⁣so hopefully I’ll get to do a bit of exploring - although my trip is super short! ⁣(Have to come back for #PursePective!!!)," Adelle further wrote on Instagram.

She resigned from Radio Africa Group's Kiss 100 FM to concentrate on her personal projects most of which have to do with activism and advocacy for gender balance.
