Kisii politician-cum-businessman Don Bosco is planning a peaceful protest to call for an end to corruption in both the national government and Kisii county government.
Bosco turned to his Facebook page on Friday and posted his plans of staging a demonstration in Kisii.
"Loading…. Serious demonstrations in Kisii against corruption against our County and National Government. April,” Don Bosco posted.
However, a section of his followers was against this move citing that in such an event, the youths will be the casualties.
This comes shortly after a rumour went viral on social media that he was rearrested in Tanzania.
However, he came out to dismiss the rumours citing that it was propaganda created by his political detractors.
Bosco was released recently after spending five years in a Tanzanian prison for alleged money laundering-related crimes.
Since his release from prison, he has been in the forefront condemning political atrocities in the country including the bill that the Governors tabled wanting their term to be extended.
