Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has mourned Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso.
In his condolence message to the family and friends of Laboso, Miguna revealed what he claimed were reasons why many people are perishing of cancer in the country.
"Rest in everlasting peace, Governor Joyce Laboso. My condolences to your husband, Edwin Abonyo, children and family. Thousands of Kenyans are dying of cancer due to preventable and reckless pollution and the criminal contamination of water and foods," he said in a tweet.
Laboso passed away while undergoing medication in a Nairobi Hospital on Monday.
Her death came after two weeks since jetting into the country from India where she had also been receiving treatment.
The county boss is not the first leader to perish from cancer. Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth also passed away a few days ago after battling with cancer.
Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore also passed away while in his home in Nairobi from cancer.
