Following a public uproar over the appointment of the late Robert Kochalle to a top seat at Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), Joe Mucheru, the Information and Communication Cabinet Secretary has replaced him.
The CS has replaced him with the late Kochalle's widow Charity.
In a tweet, NTV Kenya announced this replacement.
''ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru replaces the late Robert Kochalle with his widow Charity as board member of KFCB after public uproar,'' wrote NTV Kenya.
Mr Mucheru came under critism from Kenyans after appointing the late Kochalle into a government position.
Kochalle passed away on 28 May, 2018.
Before his death, the Laisamis MP former Kochalle successfully held his position as the assistant minister in Tourism and Wildlife.
Kenyans were shocked after realizing that he, a dead man had been re-appointed again at the KFCB as a board member.
KFCB is under self proclaimed moral policeman Ezekiel Mutua.
