Even as rebellion is steadily piling up against Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale, celebrated lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi says the MP is the undisputed leader of the Somali community.
In a tweet, Ahmednasir admits that he recognizes the ability Duale has despite their occasional conflicting stands on various issues
"like it not...@HonAdenDuale is the UNDISPUTED leader of the somali community in Kenya...i don't agree with him on many matters...but the fact remains the fact... (sic)," the vocal lawyer wrote on his Twitter handle.
Ahmednasir's personal view of the National Assembly Leader of Majority comes barely a week after a section of North Eastern leaders led by Governor Ali Korane issued a presser criticising the MP for allegedly exposing the region in a bad light.
In his exposure, Duale had taken to his social media to claim that governor Korane was overseeing and harbouring massive corruption in the county.
This is not the first time the duo has been tearing each other.
Just a month ago, Duale had again ignited brawl with the county boss after he invited the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate alleged cases of nepotism in hiring, a thing that analysts have since linked to 2022 succession politics for the gubernatorial position.
