Kenya National Congress Party Leader Manson Nyamweya has condemned current MPs pushing for salary hike.
Nyamweya has demanded the immediate resignation of the greedy MPs.
"I am asking MPs who are not contented with their current salaries to consider resigning because poor Kenyans won't afford to pay them the huge allowances they are demanding," he said.
He said Kenyans should not repeat the same mistake electing the selfish MPs come 2022.
"The electorates should kick out the MPs in 2022 because most of them have prioritized their stomachs. We have other serious jobless people to be elected to continue serving Kenyans diligently," he added.
The former South Mugirango constituency reiterated that Kenyans deserve development and not MPs seeking to hike salaries forcibly.
He called on NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta to stand firm and ensure the greedy MPs' plans to hike salaries hits the wall.
"It is high time the handshake fruits to be seen. Raila and Uhuru should not allow the MPs to hike salaries but, instead urge them to concentrate on serving the poor electorates in deep villages for the purpose of boosting livelihoods," he maintained.
