Former Gor Mahia striker Michael Ogada Olunga scored the only goal as his Kashiwa Reysol side beat Albirex Niigata 1-0 in a Japanese League Division 2 Round 3 match played on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Niigata hosted the match at their Denka Big Swan Stadium as Olunga’s goal in the 73rd minute settled the matters.

He started the match. 

The Harambee Stars striker’s side is now second on the J-League Division 2 standings with 9 points after three matches following routine wins against Machida and Renofa Yamaguchi.

Mito leads the 22-teams-league standings because of a superior goal difference.
