Self-love goes hand in hand with self-care. How much do you care for yourself? 

Many people might forget about themselves, and only end up caring for the family, jobs, among other things.

A solid self-care enables you to grow positively; you get to understand yourself better and even understand how you can care for others.

This is how to practice self-care:

1. Start by waking up early

Waking up early starts with going to bed early and having enough sleep. 

Experts say eight hours of non-interrupted sleep is best for you. 

Waking up early enables one to integrate self-care practice into his or her daily schedule. 

Start the day with a word of prayer if you are a believer, get a walk to tune your body and mind into a moving day.

This will give you enough time for the day.

2. Keep a journal

Write down what is in your mind. This helps one to release any worrying thoughts that can lead to stress and later depression. 

Have time and write down your thoughts.

3. Meditate

This will connect you and your self-care routine. 

Just sit down, close your eyes and let your mind focus. 

At this position, your thoughts will start flooding your mind, and you will be required to connect with each one of the breaths you will be making. 

This will enable one to find self in him or her.
