Men can be so annoying sometimes. This can go on for prolonged periods and it may be needful that you distance yourself from him.
Ladies have always found it hard just dumping someone who has been in their lives for a long period of time. It seems cruel and most of them have to go through a lot of emotional struggle to come to the final conclusion.
Some decide to just go quiet just because they lack a formula for making him leave.
However, here are simple steps you can take and make him leave without causing so much fracas:
1. Have it your own way
When talking to him or when he is talking to you, he will want that you pay attention. Don't deny him the attention or the audience. Just be there but when it is your turn to talk, be extremely irrelevant and seem like you have come out of some hole.
Pretend like you are not at all with him. For example, if he is talking politics and in any case inquires about your opinion, give a lengthy talk on finance or agriculture. He will eventually get pissed and leave you alone.
2. Deny his requests
Here, you do not have to be rude to make him go. You just have to humbly turn down each and every request he makes from asking you out to favours; turn them down one after the other while being as humble as possible.
He will eventually get pissed and leave you alone. Most guys cannot put up with a lady who turns down all requests they make. That's a very noble way of distancing yourself from him.
3. Be less attractive
You need to do all the other crazy stuff that he may find unattractive. For example, if he asks you out, kindly tell him that you have no time for that and that you are going to drink with your friends. He will eventually lose interest in you and distance himself. He will start considering you way less attractive.
4. Talk about other guys
This is probably the best way to piss him off. Mentioning and talking about other guys in his presence will have him pissed off and not want to associate with you whatsoever.
Just say how good some other guy is even if you are making it up. Come up with stuff about guys and have him scratching his head. Talk about them in a very nice way. He won't stand to hear another guy being praised every now and then.
