Kenyan gospel artist Kevin Mbuvi popularly known as Bahati has finally bowed to pressure and registered for Huduma number.

The artist admitted on his Instagram account that he was pressured by his colleague DJ Sadic to take part in the nationwide government exercise.

“Eeeeh Bro @DJSADICNdio Huyu Mimi Umepiga Kelele hadi Nikaenda Kuchukua #HUDUMANAMBA,” Bahati captioned a video in which he is seen registering for Huduma number otherwise known as National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS).

The ‘Barua’ singer nonetheless jokingly went on a ‘revenge’ mission and challenged his colleague to also get a wife.

“Sasa Pia Mimi nakuomba Uende Mahali Uchukue Bibi 🤣🤣🤣 I NEED PEOPLE TO SUPPORT THIS AKI,” Bahati’s Instagram post read.

“I accept the challenge. Kama kuna Bibi potential hapa, tafadhali jitambulishe ,” Dj Sadic noted in the comment section.

The '10 over 10' hitmaker who enjoys a huge fan base across the country is one of the few celebrities who have come out openly to not only register for Huduma Number but also urge their fans to do the same. 

A lot of controversies has surrounded the exercises with a section of people believing that Huduma number is satanic.

The nationwide registration has however been closed. According to the government, Huduma number will increase the efficiency at which the citizens will receive services.
