Uasin Gishu members of County Assembly have sent their message of condolences to the family and friends of Rose Kisama.
Kisama served in the assembly as a nominated MCA.
Through their official Facebook page, they describe the deceased astute leader who worked for the interests of the electorates.
“It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the sudden demise of Hon. Rose Kisama. She served as a nominated Member of County Assembly in the first Assembly as an astute leader,” they said.
The deceased succumbed to a heart attack while on her way to Eldoret from Nairobi.
“Our prayers to the family. May her soul Rest in Peace,” they added.
Kisama was also the Uasin Gishu County Peace and Governance activists. She was vocal in preaching peace before and after the 2017 general election.
Kisama was an iron lady who spoke her mind whenever the rights of a common mwananchi were infringed and also tried to find ways of helping them either financially or emotionally.
David Solit Sum Uasin Gishu County Assembly Public Relations officer also eulogized Kisama as a hardworking and no-nonsense lady.
“This world is not our home. Hon Rose Kisama yesterday left Nairobi for her meetings in Eldoret Kenya. On reaching Nakuru mid-day just after parking her car she felt chest pain and in a split of a second, her life ended. We should put God in our plans because anytime Jesus will call our names. RIP peace Ambassador Hon Rose,” he said.
