Everyone dreams of that day they will walk down the aisle with the person they love most and vow to stick together in good and bad times.

However, planning for this big day can be hectic and a costly affair.

Good news is, you can still manage a small wedding that you can afford and it will still be memorable.

Below are tips on how you can plan a small wedding under a tight budget:

1.Set a target budget

Many people find it difficult to do a wedding because they think it is a very expensive affair.

Imagine it is not, with the little you have you can plan a wedding that everyone will be talking about.

With the money you set aside, know what you need, understand how you will apportion the money among different areas.

If possible, get help from people who have done this before and you will understand how to divide your money.

2.Design a picture of your wedding

Take your time, plan and imagine how you would like your wedding to be.

Get the clear picture of the venue of the event, if its the church, get to know the means that will get you there, the reception, the flowers and the entertainment among other things.

Have the whole view of your big day.

3. Choose a simple theme

You have to ensure that the colour you choose to grace your big day is simple and that you and your love will look beautiful in them.

The environment should also be considered when selecting the colour themes.

4.Involve close friends

Make this event memorable by ensuring that the people attending it are those who have known you.

It is not a must you invite a lot of people to your wedding, only important people that matter to you, not everyone you say "Hello" to is your friend.

People who understand you will make the wedding day, the biggest day of your life.
