In an application under a certificate of urgency, Mburu wants the court to issue orders prohibiting  EACC from questioning, harassing, and intimidating him over the scandal.

He also wants the court to issues orders directing EACC to return the title documents and national identification documents for the directors of Afrisom Export and Import and Huelands Ltd.

The tycoon has claimed that in the course of investigations, EACC has constantly paraded him and the other directors, a situation he claims has subjected him to public humiliation.

Additionally, EACC has been put on the spot over disclosing Mburu's crucial private documents.

He is also seeking an order restraining EACC from causing his arrest or interfering with the ownership, compulsory acquisition and compensation of the Ruaraka land.

Despite the application, Mburu was arrested by DCI officers on Wednesday morning.
