A middle-aged man, only identified as Juno, incapable of self-control brought trouble to himself after touching the behind a female police officer in Habaswein.

He tried to run after committing the offence but members of the public caught up with him before he could cover much ground.

Juno was handcuffed and bundled into a police vehicle.

"That was very wrong. This is disrespect not just to the female officer but to women in general. I hope he learns his lesson," Faima Mohamed a resident says.

The female officer had been in the company of male officers on patrol.
