Renowned blogger Robert Alai on Wednesday accused Prophet Owuor of lying to Kenyans that President Uhuru Kenyatta had sent him a chopper to fly him to go and meet him.
Before he left Merica hotel in Nakuru, the self-proclaimed prophet said the president had sent him a chopper to pick him.
"Let me go, the president of the Republic of Kenya has sent me a helicopter," stated the prophet.
However, Alai, through a tweet, claimed that the prophet had lied to Kenyans.
He said the chopper is owned by National Assembly majority leader Aden Dual and was only hired by his church.
He added that the prophet used President Kenyatta's name to 'brainwash his followers' that President Kenyatta was following him as well.
"This chopper registration 5Y-HNB is owned by Aden Duale. The chopper was hired by Owuor’s church (Kings Outreach). President Uhuru Kenyatta’s name was being mentioned by conman Owuor to further brainwash his blind followers that Uhuru also worship him. Such a PIG!!!!" Alai tweeted.
The prophet held a rally in Nakuru, attended by huge congregation where he performed his usual miracles.
State House has remained mum on the issue.
Earlier efforts to have State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena clarify the issue were futile.
