Residents of Nyambunwa area in Kisii County were on Monday morning treated with a shocking incident where a body of a middle aged boda boda rider was found lying lifeless as his head was missing.
Confirming the incident, Suneka police boss Edwin Kirui said that they were informed of the incident by locals and on arrival they found the body lifeless and they have already launched investigations on the motives of the killers.
"So far we have been able to list three suspects who were seen with the man on Sunday evening at Suneka shopping center and we will ensure that they are arrested and grilled over the death," said Kirui
The police however warned the killers as well as those planning to carry such cases that they will all be arrested and charged.
"It has been a while since we had such a case in the area and we believe that it's a new gang that is emerging but I promise the locals that all will end very soon" said Kirui
A section of locals however decried of laxity of the police and called upon them to ensure that those who were involved are arrested as well as the head of the man is arrested.
"We're in shock of such incident and we call upon speedy investigations by the police as well as find the head of the man" said Agnes's Onditi a local resident
The body of the man was taken to Kisii Level six morgue as police intensify search of his head.
