The former Kitutu Masaba MP was conspicuously missing from a list of appointees made by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday despite sources saying he was set to get a slot in government.

While could neither admit or deny, he however said he's happy with his current state.

"I am too much committed in serving the party. We have a lot to do in the next few years.

"Joining government would be an impedance to our initiatives to revamp the party," he said.

Already, his compatriots Beth Syengo, Robert Arunga and Norman Magaya were absorbed to government in what analysts link to "handshake" fruits.

Mr. Bosire, an economist by profession, was also not considered to EALA under unclear circumstances.

He is reportedly warming up to succeed Governor John Nyagarama who is set to retire in 2022 elections.
