Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has hit out at Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for failing to make a political plan of his own.
Speaking on Wednesday, Muthama castigated Kalonzo for claiming that the political side President Uhuru Kenyatta will be he (Kalonzo) will be there too.
"I have made a resolution that I and the Kamba community are not flip-flopping and where Uhuru will be even after 2022, we will be there," Kalonzo recently said in meeting at his Yatta farm as quoted by Standard.
But the former Senator said that Kalonzo, a former Vice President, has shown that he is not serious about the presidency if he is willing to settle for second place.
"I have supported Kalonzo up to where he is. He is among the big five undisputable politicians in the country," said Muthama.
"The Kamba community has over five million people and Kalonzo should be told that we can't fit in someone's house," he added.
Muthama went ahead to state that the will lead a delegation that will go round the country convincing people that the former Vice President doesn't have the votes of his people.
"It won't happen, we won't follow people blindly and wait for leftovers. Kalonzo was given a job by Uhuru, let him do it but when it comes to politics he should not mix with the job he has been given," he said after attending a service at Light Christian Church in Machakos.
