Two men were arraigned before a Nakuru Court to answer to charges of defiling a Form Two student.
27-year-old Jairus Ngaira and 26-year-old Peter Ochieng were also being accused of kidnaping the minor.
The prosecution told the court that the two committed the crime on diverse dates between January 21 and February 2, this year.
Nakuru resident magistrate Eunice Kelly further heard that the two held the girl at one of the suspect’s house in Kivumbini Estate, Nakuru where they sexually assaulted her.
The prosecution said the duo lured the girl into one of the suspect’s vehicle before driving off to his house in Kivumbini.
The accused locked the minor in the house where they sexually assaulted her in turns for 10 days.
The girl’s aunt had made a police report at Kaptembwo Police Station after she went missing and the police managed to trace her inside the suspect’s house.
The Form Two student was reportedly found in critical condition when she was rescued from the suspect’s house.
The two suspects denied the charges before the court and filed to be released on bail.
Magistrate Kelly ordered them to be released on a Sh200,000 cash bail.
The case will be mentioned on February 21.
