Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has expressed his pain following news that his Kibra counterpart Ken Okoth was fighting stage four cancer.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Sudi termed Okoth as a real warrior.
This is after the MP publicly announced that he was battling with the deadly disease which is at stage four that has no cure.
According to Sudi, not everyone is willing to publicise his/her health issues.
"I admire the strength, resilience and the spirit my good friend and colleague Kenneth Okoth has displayed. He is a true warrior who has faced many challenges in life and I have seen him fight and come out on top. This cancer is no different. He is a fighter and I know he will come out on top as always," reads part of Sudi's post.
For the MP, Okoth has been an inspiration to him through his focused and visionary leadership in Kibra.
He wished Okoth speedy recovery so that he can continue serving Kibra locals.
The Kibra MP was diagnosed with stage-four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver.
