1. Nightwear

Some women don’t like staying in hospital gowns. If you are one of them, make sure you pack your own cosy clothes/nightwear. This will make you feel comfortable during your recovery period in the hospital.

2. Roomy footwear

Some women's legs swell after delivery. For this reason, it will be a good idea for you to pack some comfortable shoes. You can buy flip flops that can easily fit your swollen legs. Go for light and soft shoes.

3. Pads and extra underwear

Packing enough pads and underwear will save you from discomfort after delivery. Some hospitals provide pads but they may not be the brand you are used to. The extra pads you carry will come in handy especially when you get unexpected discharges.

4. Baby clothes

Some women don’t know the sex of their unborn babies before birth. This makes it hard for parents to buy them clothes. However, you always buy unisex clothes for your unborn babies. Ensure you pack some of these clothes when you go to the hospital to deliver your baby.

5. Toiletries

Personal hygiene will make you comfortable in many places.  Women should always make sure they pack items like toothpaste, a brush, lotion, toilet paper, towels among other things as such items will make your stay at the hospital more comfortable.
