A well-wisher who funded the construction of toilets at Nyamerako Primary School in Bogiakumu Ward, Bonchari Constituency in Kisii County on Sunday inspected the progress of the project.

Eng Robert Oimeke pledged to fund the construction of the toilets after public health officers in the county closed down the school on June 14, 2019, over lack of toilets.

Oimeke donated Sh50,000 for the construction of the six pit latrines.

Speaking when he inspected the progress of the project, Oimeke noted that he will continue helping learning institutions because he values education. 

"I'm impressed with the progress of the project. I will be happy to see pupils resuming their studies once the construction of the toilets is complete," said Oimeke. 

According to Oimeke who doubles as the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority director general, he will not shy away from helping the people of Bonchari.
