In a new twist of events, it has now emerged that former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka officially opened the soon-to-be-forgotten Airgate Mall along Outer Ring road.
The multi-billion mall formerly known as Taj Mall, was finally demolished on Saturday after a protracted battle to bring the property down.
As soon as the 'green mamba' landed at the premises early Saturday morning, a screenshot of a plaque indicating that Kalonzo officially opened the mall started doing rounds on Twitter.

The Wiper leader has seen gone silence ever since the demolitions of building on public and riparian lands started. The mall which has now been demolished is reportedly said to be worth Sh5.4 billion.
There was a protracted court battle between the government and the owner of the building, Ramesh Gorasia before it finally came down.
While speaking to the press on Saturday, a disheartened Gorasia said he was at no fault since all approvals were done by government officers.
