The meeting comes after Deputy Speaker Kithure Kindiki requiring asked the senate committee to present itself before the governors and the CS to shed more light on what is transpiring in the house after the standoff escalated.

“I direct that the meeting should not adjourn until all those officials of State and our Committee of this House on Budget and Finance provide a solution for the Republic of Kenya on this matter,” he stated, as quoted by Capital FM.
