The woman who seemed to be pained by the decision made by Senior Resident Magistrate Sinkiyan Tobiko expressed her emotions outside the Milimani Law Courts.

“Jaguar you are suffering while defending the weak. Starehe we have refused, Starehe we have refused, Starehe we have refused. This is not true (Jaguar unateseka ukitetea mnyonge. Starehe tumekataa, Starehe tumekataa, Starehe tumekataa. This is not true),” the lady wailed

The woman was among Kenyans who turned up in court to support Jaguar.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino was also among those who showed up at the Milimani Law Courts. Babu supported Jaguar despite the differences they once had. The two lawmakers at one point engaged in a physical fight.

Jaguar was arrested on Monday after it was alleged that he had made xenophobic statements against foreign traders operating in the country particularly Nairobi.

The government disowned the remarks after Tanzania expressed concern with the MPs utterances.
