Former Kakamega Senator Dr Boni Khalwale has called on Eldoret tycoon Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop (Buzeki) to exit from Chama cha Mashinani party (CCM) and rejoin Jubilee.
Khalwale who was speaking at a Church function in Moiben constituency on Sunday in a video shared on Facebook asked Buzeki to avoid 'confusing' the residents by jump-shipping to CCM ahead of 2022 elections.
"Abandon such kind of politics my brother. (Wachana na siasa kama hio ndugu yangu)," the former Ikolomani legislator told Buzeki.
He also asked the former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant to exercise patience in Jubilee so that he would not be locked out of the next government.
Buzeki lost the Jubilee ticket to governor Jackson Mandago in 2017 and unsuccessfully vied as an independent ticket.
He recently ditched the Jubilee party in favour of Isaac Ruto's CCM, a vehicle he is widely expected to use to vie for the county's top seat in 2022.
On the 2022 politics, Khalwale said Western Kenya locals decided to associate themselves with a political group which would form the next government.
According to the former MP, Deputy President William Ruto is poised to win 2022 presidential elections and form the next government.
He, however, advised the DP and Rift Valley residents to maintain 'friendship' with Central Kenya leaders and residents that had been established since Jubilee came to power in 2013, in order to boost voter numbers that would enable Ruto to win the top seat in 2022.
"Do not let it go. Let that friendship continue. (Msiachilie.Huo urafiki uendelee)," advised Khalwale.
