An elected Member of Parliament in Kisii County has asked his political opponents to continue criticizing him so that he can be more strong.
South Mugirango lawmaker Sylvanus Osoro said his rivals are free to criticize him because he won't take the criticism personally.
"No matter what I do, I know my rivals will have something negative to say. I wish to confirm that I won't take criticism by my opponents personal since criticism will keep me strong," he stated.
According to the vocal legislator, people judge and criticize other people’s lives when they’re not happy with their own.
"I will continue doing what is right for my constituents including those who didn't vote for me. I need criticism to be strong and serve constituency diligently," said Osoro.
He assured that as rivals will continue dwelling on propaganda, on his part he will be busy launching development projects in the constituency aimed at improving the livelihoods of the electorates who sent him to the National Assembly.
Mr Osoro is serving his first term in Parliament after having successfully elected on August 8, 2017 polls on a Kenya National Congress (KNC) Party ticket.
