Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) defending champions Gor Mahia have put pressure at the top of the league after winning by four goals to nil against Zoo Kericho in a rearranged SPL match on Wednesday.
Gor Mahia built a two-goal lead in the first-half after goals from Kenneth Muguna and Dennis Oliech.
Additional goals from Oliech and Kipkirui in the second half earned the visitors a commanding triumph.
Gor opened their scoring eighteen minutes after the kick-off, when Muguna swung a spectacular free-kick past the defensive wall, leaving Zoo Kericho goalkeeper Elungat stranded.
After teasing opposition defenders, Muguna set up Oliech from a cross to poke in a second for K'ogalo in the 20th minute.
Following the win, Gor Mahia has moved to the second position.
