The MCA, together with officials from Kenya Human Rights Commission, led by George Kegoro, were to have a meeting in Solai Nyakinyua over compensation of victims of Solai dam tragedy.

However the meeting was called off by Rongai Deputy County Commissioner terming it illegal.

Earlier in the day, the MCA had claimed his life was in danger and that certain people are behind his life because he refused to be compromised in the compensation of Patel dam victims.

"All this because I refused to be compromised. Because I chose to say and do what I think God would want me to say and do as an MCA. Anything can happen when police are looking for you and when you get into their custody, but let the world know I have done my best in my own little way; the battle is not about me but hundreds of victims and the larger community," Mbae said.
