In a six-hour grilling session at Maralala town, the MP grilled over raids reported in the constituency.

According to the county’s criminal investigative officer Seroney Soo, more people, whose names he didn't mention, will also be grilled over incitement to violence and cattle rustling in Samburu North.

“We shall continue summoning others as well so that we know the genesis of these raids in Samburu North,” said the DCI officer.

However, Lentoimaga rubbished these allegations noting that he knows he is not culpable.

“I deny all these allegations. I am an elected leader and a lawmaker of this country and I have served for more than 30 years as an administrator in public service, so I understand the rule of law,” he defended himself.

The MP further slammed the government over failure to recover guns owned by cattle rustlers in his constituency.

More so, he noted that the government has failed to recover the livestock stolen from his people which is causing trouble in the area.

Livestock rustling has led to the death of people and destruction of property in the area.
