Deputy President William Ruto will be sent to his Sugoi home in 2022 if he can't have a strong team of campaigners, an ex-MP has claimed.
Former Bonchari MP Protus Momanyi said Ruto need to go back to the drawing board and recruit a competent team to campaign for him in 2022.
"Ruto will be shocked when he lose presidency in 2022 if he continues sleeping. The latest wrangles in Jubilee party is a sign that Mr Ruto will not get endorsement from his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta," he said.
Mr Momanyi argued that DP Ruto should also clear his name because he has been widely been mentioned in corruption dealings.
"Corruption is another reason DP Ruto will be sent home. Let him clear his name now before 2022 otherwise, he will find it hard convincing Kenyans to vote for him," he added.
The ex-lawmaker stated that Gusii leaders should join a camp which will win in 2022.
"Gusii region should be in government come 2022. Leaders should join a winning team since the community has been in the political cold for long," he said.
