For about two hours, Nyamira town was impassable due to thousands of people who turned up to receive remains of former minister Henry Obwocha.
As the police chopper landed on Thursday at Nyamira primary, sombre mood engulfed the town with leaders lining up to receive him.

And when time came to ferry the body to his Igena-Itambe home, human and car traffic was the order of the day as onlookers watched from a distance.
Businesses closed down as those who knew him chanted 'Egesora' slogans, synonymous with his campaigns.
He will be laid to rest on Friday in a ceremony where ODM leader Raila Odinga among other dignitaries are expected to attend.
