While responding to a story in the local dailies titled 'The wars in Uhuru and Raila parties', Sifuna said that it was meant for the Jubilee Party and not ODM.

He affirmed that all is well within the ODM party arguing that the author of the piece wanted to balance between Jubilee and ODM to make the reporting look more comprehensive.

Sifuna asked the writer of the story, Moses Nyamori to clarify who is fighting in opposition.

"Standard Kenya understands balance to mean including everyone in their stories. This story is about Jubilee...but it had to "balance" so we were lumped together. I read looking to see who was fighting who in ODM and over what...the writer Moses Nyamori doesn't say. " he tweeted.

The remarks of the lawyer come at a time when all seems not rosy between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto. The Jubilee camp has been divided into TangaTanga and Kieleweke factions following the handshake.

The allies of the second in command believe Raila wants to lock him out of power. The allies have been opposed to the handshake right from the word go. Raila has, however, not expressed interest in 2022 Presidential race.
