Popular Kenyan hip hop musician Khaligraph Jones has endorsed his rival in the music industry Henry Ohanga popularly known as Octopizzo for the Kibra parliamentary seat.
Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, Khaligraph shared what appears to be a photo-shopped campaign poster of Octopizzo running for the seat on a KANU ticket.
He went ahead to explain in his Instagram post that Octopizzo has been representing Kibera and was therefore worth being voted for.
"KIBRA PEOPLE MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE, He has been Reppin Kibera Number Nane to the Fullest, Vote pizzo de King 👌, Pizzo De #respecttheogs," Khaligraph wrote on Instagram.

Octopizzo has nonetheless not commented on Khaligraph's endorsement. Of great interest though is the fact that Khaligraph and Octopizzo are always viewed as not just rivals but enemies in the Kenyan music industry.
Kibra by-election has seen a number of celebrities going for the seat. The first celebrity to declare his interest was popular disk jockey Kris Darlin.
He attracted attention when he knelt in front of opposition leader Raila Odinga to get his support.
Kenyan footballer McDonald Mariga also gave his shot into the politics but was eventually disqualified by the Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC). This is after his name found missing in the 2017 voters register.
