Celebrated KTN News anchor Betty Kyallo will be hosting her last show in the Mombasa Road station tonight after eight years as both an intern and employee.
Ms. Kyallo, a mother of one, is famous with her Friday Briefing programme which she hosts people of interest.
And on Friday, Kyallo confirmed news about her anticipated exit with reports indicating that she is due to join rivals K24.
"It has been an amazing eight years at KTN, tonight I say goodbye with so much gratitude and love to you. See you then," she said.
Her exit is a major blow to Standard Media Group which had already lost Joe Ageyo, Mashirima Kapombe, Asha Mwilu among others to resurgent Citizen TV.
Besides her excellent performance as news anchor, Ms. Kyallo once hit headlines following her short-lived marriage with long time fiance Dennis Okari of NTV.
