Jalang'o has called on the graduands to prepare for the day after their graduation, branding it as more important than the graduation itself.

He spoke on Friday morning on Milele FM while doing a show alongside his co-host Alex Mwakideu.

"Graduation is not a big thing, it is a huge thing, but the huggest thing is what are you doing tomorrow? (Sic).

"Plan for day one after graduation. Graduation you can plan for it, it's a big thing, but the biggest thing is the day after graduation,"Jalang'o said.

The comedian went on to reveal why he would not invite people to his graduation, adding that it would be very expensive to do so.

According to him, graduands spend a lot of money entertaining friends in celebration of their academic achievement.

He noted that only his co-host Mwakideu will know about his graduation.

"Ndio maana mimi sitaita mtu kwa graduation yangu. It's very expensive. (That's why I won't call anyone to my graduation)," he said.

Jalang'o is a student at Daystar University, pursuing a Bachelors Degree.

Last week, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) held it's 33rd graduation ceremony.
