A Jubilee youth leader Isaac Motari said there is no crime with DP Ruto meeting Raila in his home turf.
"Ruto is doing a great job meeting his rival. As local leaders we must also not see each other as enemies. It is time we stand firm to push for development the same way top leaders are meeting to discuss development," he noted.
Motari warned local leaders against engaging in retrogressive politics ahead of 2022.
"Local leaders should embrace peace and unity ahead of the 2022 polls," he added.
Steve Arika lauded DP Ruto for making numerous visits to regions perceived to be Raila's strongholds.
"It is now evident that DP Ruto is committed to become president because despite the ongoing trouble in Jubilee party he is not scared traversing the country. He will definitely win the top seat when time comes," he noted.
Tabaka ward MCA Daniel Apepo urged Raila to stop causing trouble in Jubilee party using the backdoor.
"Raila joined government to push for development and not chasing DP Ruto out of the Jubilee party," said the Jubilee elected MCA.
