This is after the legislator made controversial remarks about former President Daniel Arap Moi in Uasin Gishu during the burial of KANU era legislator Mark Too.

Duale asked Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to support Deputy President William Ruto during the general election as payback for what other leaders did.

He even went ahead to claim that the former President was taken from 'nothing' and made President.

"Gideon Moi, sisi tulibeba baba yako kwa mgongo tukamtoa kwa kichaka.Sasa ni wakati wako kubeba DP William Ruto kwa mgongo (We carried your father [retired President Daniel Moi] on our backs. It is now your turn to carry Deputy President William Ruto)," he said.

Machakos township Member of Parliament Victor Munyaka wasn't left behind in criticising Duale saying that he(Duale) is mentally unstable and should undergo mental check-up.

Munyaka said that the legislator had gone too far with his sentiments and should have respect not only to the elderly but also all other leaders.

"I am sure you were taught to accord your elders the respect they deserve. Do so and you won't find yourself in trouble" said Munyaka.

Several leaders came out to demand an apology from the legislator citing that the former President is a peaceful person and should be given peace of mind.
