Police officers in Ngurubani, Kirinyaga County were forced to arrest a woman after she caused chaos and damaged her husband's car on the allegations that she caught him cheating with another woman inside the car.
The woman, Gathoni Njenga, claimed she had resorted to damaging the car using stones after she caught him being unfaithful.
She blamed the other woman for the domestic problems that she was experiencing in her marriage.
Gathoni who spoke to Citizen TV further accused her husband of neglecting her and the children.
She pointed out that she had in the process lost her property and efforts to report the matter to the police bore no fruits.
"My husband beats me up without a reason. They have taken my property including electronics, a car, and motorbike from our parking lot and went into hiding. I have taken the case to Ang'uru twice but they have taken me in circles and it appears to be impossible. I told them that my property has been stolen by this woman, but they refused.
