Director of Criminal Investigation George Kinoti has dismissed claims by the widow of Dutch billionaire Tob Cohen that he has been disregarding court orders.
Through her lawyers, Mrs Sarah Wairimu claims DCI has blocked her from accessing her Kitusuru home.
But in a letter on Friday, Kinoti dismissed the claims, arguing that the orders Wairimu is referring to were invalidated by the court.
Through KTK advocates, Kinoti also said that the orders being referred to by Sarah were "irregularly, unlawfully and mischievously" dismissed.
Last week, a court in Nairobi allowed Ms Wairimu to access the bedroom she was using, restricting her access to other parts of the house.
DCI Kinoti and his team are in possession of the keys to the house of the estranged widow, who is the prime suspect in husband's murder.
Wairimu has also written to her in-laws, informing them not to interfere with her plans to erect a tombstone at Cohen's grave.
"While it is the sole responsibility of our client to erect an appropriate tombstone on the grave of her husband, ..if they are in the country, they will be free to attend any ceremony regarding the same...," Murgor wrote to the siblings through Ombeta.
