Luo Nyanza is home to some of the best leaders, some of whom are considered to be intimidating.
Here are some of them.
1. Raila Odinga
The opposition leader is untouchable and intimidating whichever way you look at it.
He is among the most protected leaders in the nation thanks to his former Prime Minister seat and his African Union envoy seat.
Also, very few people can dare attack him verbally as he has hundreds of juniors and allies always on standby to hit back.
Castigating him in Luo Nyanza is a major risk as one, if they are politicians, might end up losing relevance or face a violent retaliation from his supporters.
2. Miguna Miguna
The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant is currently in Canada where he was deported to in 2018.
He has proven his intolerance for people who hold opposing views. He is known for his merciless attacks on social media.
In addition to his sophisticated English, a simple explanation from Miguna sometimes comes out as a huge insult, making people fear him.
He also is never afraid to go as far as the presidency in his attacks and is not afraid of the opposition either.
3. Samuel Atandi
The Alego Usonga lawmaker is known for his controversial lifestyle and is said to have once challenged Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa, a trained boxer, to a fist fight.
He also has a history of alleged violence engagements, the latest one being earlier this month when he was accused of assaulting an officer at the Siaya Education Offices.
This makes him an intimidating figure who, basing on his history, is not to be messed with.
