South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has suffered a blow after an MCA from his home area dumped him (Osoro) for Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
Chitago-Borabu ward MCA Andrew Kimonge protested MP Osoro's behaviour terming him as too young to compete with Matiang'i.
"I'm the MCA in the area where MP Osoro and Matiang'i were born. I will not support Osoro to continue opposing Matiang'i's leadership. Osoro must respect Matiang'i because he is older than him," said Kimonge as reported by Egesa Fm.
The vocal ward representative said MP Osoro should look for elders to reunite him with Matiang'i.
"MP Osoro should engage elders even if it will mean Abagusii council of elders so that he can reach out to Matiang'i and make peace with him. My area of administration remains their native homes no matter what and since I'm the boss in the ward Matiang'i must be respected by juniors," noted Kimonge.
Bogeka Ward MCA Charles Nyagoto echoed Kimonge's sentiments saying MP Osoro is bringing more harm to Gusii community by disrespecting Matiang'i.
Nyagoto urged the first term MP to reduce his ego and pride arguing that being an MP at his age does not mean he should disrespect those who are older than him.
