Waititu, who has since been locked out of his office by the court over graft charges, alongside his wife and two daughters, allegedly secured county tenders through their companies.

The Daily Nation reports that the four used five companies to trade with the county, only two months after his takeover from former governor William Kabogo, tenders worth Sh18,871,398.

However, reached out for his comments over the allegations, the troubled county chief dismissed the findings, telling off the paper over the claims.

"Get the proper details with evidence," he reportedly responded to Daily Nation in a text message on Thursday.

The companies in question are Bedee Management Services Ltd, Bins Management Services Ltd, Suwanga Limited, Modiba Ltd and Connex Logistics Limited.

Suwanga, according to Daily Nation, was registered on August 7, 2018, Modiba on November 1, 2017, as well as Bedee, while Bins was registered on August 19, 2010.

It is through these companies that Waititu, his wife Susan Wangari and Diana Wangoko Ndungu and Monica Njeri Ndungu allegedly used to trade with the county.

The county boss was earlier in the week impeached by the Kiambu County Assembly, despite attempts by the Jubilee Party leadership to rescue him.
