Infertility can occur naturally but there are some lifestyle habits which may lead to infertility as well.

They include;

1. Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes

This habit affects both women and men. Smoking and drinking affect the overall health of an individual. Smoking is dangerous to sperm health as it destroys the irreplaceable DNA in sperms.

In women, smoking during pregnancy can lead to a miscarriage. Alcohol consumption also lowers the chances of conceiving.

2. Overeating junk food

Junk food is always sweet and people tend to eat a lot of it. This food will make you have weight problems which affect your fertility negatively

3. Stress

Mental stress interferes with sperm production in men and ovulation process in women.

Women with higher levels of alpha-amylase (Stress hormone) have a lower chance of getting pregnant than women with lower levels of the hormone.

4. Use of illegal drugs such as bhang

Use of bhang and cocaine interfere with sperm production leading to low sperm count. Long-Term use of steroids which are associated with athletes can boost your stamina but reduce the mobility of your sperms.
