Former 10 over 10 show host Joey Muthengi has landed a new lucrative job.
Muthengi was 'forced' to resign from Citizen TV 10 over 10 show that airs every Friday at 10 pm after she appeared in gambling and betting advert for another media house.
She had to quietly quit the show.
However, Joey has revealed through Instagram stories, that she will be replacing the outgoing Cess Mutungi at Capital FM.
She will be hosting 'The Jam' show, which she said will be coming soon, and it will be full of 'Mambo JAMbo".
Mutungi took to Twitter to announce her departure from the radio station. She has spent at least 10 years at the highly celebrated radio station in the country, especially by the youths.
Many of her fans used the opportunity to thank her and even wished her well in her next endeavour although she did not reveal where she will be heading to.
"Thank you for a fabulous 10 years. Thank you for your love, support and strength. It's been amazing," she tweeted.
The station has chosen Muthengi to be a suitable replacement.
The sultry media personality had earlier landed a job with the Washington DC-based Voice of America (VOA) -a US government-funded international radio broadcast.
